Jambo!

Jambo - Hello!!

Is everyone safely home yet? I didn't get to paint my own feet :( still, we have a load of paint left over so I'll have to create a fab design asap.

Camping at Skreens was an experience - I've never appreciated a shower soooo much - makes me think about how much I take for granted.  

The Jamboree was such an amazing time - we have some great memories of our activity and the 'regulars' who kept coming back for more fun with paint and foot theatre. We have had sign ups from 68 countries - which is awesome.

A global conversation has begun... and the WSJ was the start of it.

You never know who you will meet...

I gave a sticker to a man in a golf buggy at the Jamboree and told him to place it on the back of the driver who was sat in front of him, little did I realise that it was only PETER DUNCAN - CHIEF SCOUT!!! oops

After the opening ceremony he came back to find out what we were all about - which was pretty cool!!!

jambo was i  went as a day vistiitor and loved every minute esspecially painting my feet  thank 4 making it amazing

Heya ! I signed up at the Jamboree and painted my feet. It was a really fun day and i tried to get all the stickers i could! I stuck them on my shorts and t-shirt and a couple of people asked me what it was about, so i told them and they went along and some other girls from my scout group joined up! It was really good fun and was a great day x
