Garden Art

We have now finished our eco garden mural, it represents the footprint back to nature theme. The river runs off the wall across the pavement in front of the fence and then curves round the garden as the blue wall.

Harvested the last of the broad beans now and the potatoes and gave them out. Getting ready for winter in the garden now, clearing out the raised veg beds and getting ready with winter salad crops.

I attended an excellent council meeting yesterday about reducing the carbon emitted in schools. It was run by Stephen Calvert and attended by Krista and Melanie & Victoria- climate change officers. Lots of exciting ideas were talked about.

I am starting college on Monday at Bede which is a new eco-building designed to used minimal energy. So all very exciting. For the first day I have been asked if a member of the press can follow me around for an article about the first day at a new college.
