Nope, not much at all. Bout £1-£2 for the switch itself and less than 50p per meter for the cable itself. VERY simple to set up.Wink

He he... that made me laugh!

I had a vivid picture of a class of kids all working hard and the teacher turning off all the computers and lots of angry kids loosing their work!

I think all buildings should have these isolated switches and they should be CLEARLY LABLED.

If you wanted to conceal the wiring and have the points for the 24hr supply there would be a lot of additional cosmetic costs - paint, plaster, labour, etc

Still you have made me think it is possible as I thought about rewiring the whole house and not just the 24 hr supply to the fridge and the house alarm!

Still you would need to consult an electrician about anything electrical.

MMMM........Fair enough. Cosmetic costs could be annoying.Hmm Redoing the whole house would not be a difficult job to do. What about a seperate switch for each room in the house and one master switch in a particular place?

As for conulting an electrician, yes legally any elctrical work using mains equpiment requires an electrician to do it.Tongue Tied I said I knew how to do it and if required could do the job easily. I didn't say i was allowed to.Confused -innocent whistle-
