    climate dr who!

I've got another bright idea! Idea what if climate change was introduced in dr who. As you might know dr who is a show watched by many people (even me!). So what do you think.

    Good idea

I think sustainability is actually a running theme through Dr Who.

Dr Who is in connection with life it self and helps keep normality.

It would be great to get a Footprint Friends mention in an episode somehow.

If it was placed on Dr Who, perhaps the episode could show the future effects through flashbacks-kind of like a sub plot in a main episode, perhaps this would be more accomadating (like a view of an over-exhausted planet, and a conversation about it?)

Great idea! May be we should write the episode for them and send it to them!!

The only thing is (not trying to be negative), but the dr who team probably have episodes for the future mapped out way in advance.  This is why I suggested a sub-plot as this would not be as drastic change. As I'm one of the Climate Champions, we have a kind of official power, and so hopefully will send of a letter-perhaps I'll suggest the episode idea as well as ther's no harm in trying. What do you think?

What about having footprint friends or climate change as a running theme through the series. Like torchwood or bad wolf. A little clue in every episode.

Good idea. Waht about if the doctor goes into the future and he meets the daleks and the cybermen trying to steal the Galaxys power so nothing electronic can work. Smile

We dont really want discussion around personal matters (not that I am offended) - I will say I am not 11-18 and I am one of the original founders of Footprint Friends.

Wasn't one of the Aliens in Dr Who created by a Blue Peter competition winner? the one Peter Kay was in?

It would be a very interesting program, but people might not like the idea to it all. Still a good idea though.Yes
