Hi guys,
Just got back from London last night as I was chosen to attend a video conference with China, David Milliband UK's Foreign Secretary and his counterpart in China Dr Lu Xuedu. I was invited to ask Dr Lu Xuedu a question.
My question was:
" Last year the Environment Secretary of the United Kingdom -Then Mr Milliband, announced that 11-14 year olds in the UK would learn about climate change in school from this year. Is climate change being taught as part of the national curriculum in Chinese schools? If not, could it be included to help young people learn more about the challenge and how to tackle it?
Dr Lu's answer to the question was that climate change was not on the school curriculum but he would look into it.
Wouldn't it be great if a massive carbon producing country took this on board.
I have been invited to attend the international climate change champions reception in London in a few weeks time run by the British Council.
