At the centre of it lies one of the greatest environmental controversies of the age: nuclear fission. So, is it a solution to climate change? Is it morally acceptable? Is this science's only viable answer?
I've got a feeling this science (nuclear) is regarded as the 'easiest' as it takes just one decision - the renewable power science involves lots of variables and needs to be nurtured as this science and our understanding evolves. My worry is that we might just miss the opportunity to harness the power of nature because the view is that we can't make enough of it to meet demand - my question would be... how hard have we tried
