What do the badges mean????

 Hi Guys

You may have noticed that there are more badges being added to our VIP's 

I though you may wish to know what they meant and how you can get them...  

So here is the run down so far (I am sure we will add more as time goes on...)

Representing England on an international level as a former winner of the DEFRA Climate Change Champion Program.

A DEFRA run inititive where 9 individuals, one from each area of the UK, are chosen to spend a year ‘in office’ communicating their ideas and leading their own regional public awareness campaigns. For the year 2007

Footprint Friends runs competitions from time to time - and this is your prize!!!

Moderators are on your site to ensure that the content is suitable for 11-18year olds. Your freedom of opinion is unaffected but please keep on topic and keep it clean. As the site grows we will be looking for aplicants to be trained to become moderators. Watch this space...

Administrators have ultimate control over the site. They are here to keep your site running for you and keep everyone in order.

  Footprint Friends often gets invited to attend events where people paint their feet, have them photographed and then join the site. We need support of active members to help us while we are on tour, thanks to everyone who has helped so far! We will be making a calendar available of venues in due course. Watch this space...

are there any tours or events happening this summer?

would it be possible for me to get involved again, as the world scout jamboree last year was amazing, a truly unforgetable experience. :D

i have introduced so many of my teachers n friends to the site but i still feel like im not doing enough.

Been ages since the Jambo.. you were a fantastic helper - the pizza topping challenge photo still makes us chuckle - way too much chili!!

There are some events coming up in July, which I need to plan. Details will be confirmed soon.

We are now getting global media coverage, which is exciting and helped by references on various eco sites etc. If you would like some help with your communications in your school, just let us know.

How are you going to choose moderators?

 Hi,

Our existing moderators have been with us since the Jamboree - however we are going to need more going forward. We'll keep you posted when we are looking for more moderators and we will detail what we are looking for.

 How do u get da badges

You get badges by being part of the site. some have won competition badges for playing games. some have got them for being on tour with Footprint Friends. we will be bring more games and fun soon to Footprint Friends so you will have more chances to get more badges
