The Olympic Commitee have said they want London 2012 to be the first sustainable Games so lets hope they can stick to their word.
I have read that the flame burning over the 2012 Olympic Staduim will use a low-carbon fuel.
There must be so many ways that London 2012 can be eco friendly.
Recycled water in the toilets, solar power, successful waste management. One of the major things I think has to be that the venues have longevity so that once the Games are finished they will be used over and over - we don't want to waste the energy, time and resources that will have gone into constructing it all.
Wouldn't it be brilliant if they could harness the power of the athletes!! Any ideas?
