Wouldnt it be great if WE could make it into someting else in our own country?

why cant WE do something with it?

save on those carbon miles Big Smile

    and create jobs.

What does it get used for?

I have heard that some product can be shredded and used for insulation in buildings - I am not sure if that was paper or plastic Hmm

Anyway, if we can create a demand for it in our own country the value of it will go back up as there will be less of it to go around - then more people will recycle to fulfil the demand again. Every one is happy - maybe an oversimplification but still...

well I know a way of recycling it into another peice of paper. The paper created is called mullberry paper (I think). It is very easy to make, My mum would like to make some so I will post some instructions on here if you would like.

     Hi Diddi,

Your mum sounds really into eco issues what with wanting to be a cycle proficiency officer and now making recyclyed paper.

Yes we would like the instructions posted, sounds interesting.

There is so many things that you can make with pacha mache (chopped up pieces of paper and glue) like ornaments/toys and even furniture.

Can any one think of anything else you can make with recyled paper?
