    Re: Eco Christmas

I think that we all could have a more eco friendly christmas.

Here are just a few steps I came up with at home.:

    1. Get a living christmas tree (with roots). As this will mean that you are planting a tree(good for the environment) and reusing it year after year.

    2. make your own decorations. I have gotten some ideas from fpf if you would like to see them here is the link: eco ornaments

    3. make home made pressent. Home made pressents are always the bestest and nicest. here is another link but this time for pressents : eco pressents

    4. well the last thing to say is: HAVE FUN!.

And the next thing I would like to say is I hope you have a very mery (eco friendly) christmas, and a happy new year.

you could learn to knit like me and make teddy bears that you hang on the tree and stuff them with recycled stuffing

great idea. I read that you can stuff them with newspaper, as if it is just going to be on the tree it does not have to be as soft. But if you want it soft you can use the scraps of material left over which you don't want to use again or you can't use again.

     More Eco friendly?

Don't illuminate the outside of your house like Las Vegas. There are some houses here JUST like that.

Use a real tree. Its taken in carbon dioxide hasn't it?

Go VEGGIE!  Eating animals means we use loads more enrgy than eating plants

Well, I don't want to start talking about this, because I'll just say something, and then do the complete opposite. I was thinking of saying stop consuming so much items, but I think I'm a bit like that.

same. OMG!!! Christmas in another 20 days. :D I can't wait. My little christmas tree will be coming back inside soon. yay!! I have only just started making some ornaments. I might make my own wreath from branches and stuff I find in the forrest and in my own garden. my sister is getting scrap pieces of paper and cutting them into christmas shapes, like snowflakes and angels. :DNothing gets you into the spirit of christmas quite like some hand made (eco friendly) christmas ornaments. :)
