Can music change/save the world?

 Music can definately change the world, think how proud different country's teams are when they sing their national anthems.Sometimes there is so much emotion they have tears in their eyes. Wouldn't it be good if someone wrote a song that everyone associated with cherishing this world of ours. Like a world anthem but made it illegal to use the song for advertising anything. ' I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony etc' would have been great but is now associated with a product and the words not really listened to.

it seems to me that a lot of other countires have more patriotic pride than we do... they have inspirational anthems (that are long), ours isnt taht good  feel...

yup. Mcdonalds...............I don't minde the little toys you get in the kiddy meals, but the packaging is really anoying, as it can't be recycled. maybe they could change how thay package things (so that it can all be recycled). now that would change the world (well kinda will) as then maybe other fast food resturants would change their packaging. :D

 i dont like them at all.. its the way they treat their animals, the way they treat theiur third world workers...

I think yes because I always sing little clipits from songs and if I like them I look at the lyrics and by that I learn what they are about

awesome!!!! I don't really sing, so I just go online and look up the lyrics of the song, and kinda study them, then I get what the song is about.

lol I sing when there is no one in the house really loudly lol but only small parts of songs because that is all I know XD

singing just makes people feel good especially singing 'what a wonderful world'

Cool. For some odd reason when I am really hyper (happy) I like to kind of sing 'Zipidee doo dah' . I have no idea why. But it seems to cheer some people up. (naming my little sister, who seems to enjoy singing along )

lol zipidee do dah is definatly a fave on a sunny day when I am happpy and ona walk with my dog lol

yup. Around christmas I tend to sing christmas carrols, to myself. lol! My dog gives me strange looks when I sing though.

maybe you could write your own eco songs like how swampy wrote the bohemian rhapsfeety and then perform your song (with your feet) and put it on the site like me and some of my friends did.

great idea. I will try to think of an origional eco song. if you guys want to help you can. and then we can bothe perform our own versions of it.
