Your Dreams for the Future - MFTC Poetry Challenge

As part of our ONE MILLION FEET TO COPENHAGEN challenge - we also would love to include your eco poetry.

Under the Heading - 'My Dream for the future' think about the future that you would wish for your self and the planet. We know that there are some fantastic poets out there and poetry has the capacity to be remembered and recited for ever.

The best poetry will be included in a 'book of dreams' that we will take to Copenhagen

Our beautiful Earth

We must protect endangered species.

We can use renewable energies.

We must stop deforestation.

We must protect our plants and our flowers.

We mustn't waste water.

We must stop the pollution.

We can recycle rubbish.

Nature is protected by the ecologists.

The oceans are important.

We must help our environment.

Green teens take actions

To find future solutions

To reduce deforestation

Don't let the ozone layer

Slowly disappear !

Green teens are involving for the endangered species

And renewable energy sources !

We can save a part of the forest

By protecting the planet

To help ecologists we should :

Stop pollution

We can use renewable energies

We can use commun transportation

Because it provokes global warming.

We must stop the water while brushing our teeth

Because the groundwater is getting lower.

Stop deforestation

We can recycle paper

We must preserve trees

Because they consume carbon dioxide

Ecology : Action, Solution

Because of deforestation we kill animals

Pollution causes the disappearing of corals

Carbon dioxide makes a hole in the atmosphere

We must recycle plastic and paper

We must reduce global warming

We should develop organic farming

We should stop pollution

We can use common transportation

Dream of a better world

Ecology is our future
Ecology is our life
But what is ecology ?
Renewable energy ? Solar energy ?
Not only, it's developing countries too
For the Earth, we have to change our habits
Act or react, but what must we do ?
What problem will we meet ?
Pollution overflows the Earth like water overflows the city
Live or survive, we will save humanity

Environment

To stop deforestation

We can recycle paper

We must preserve every tree

Because a tree absorbs carbon dioxide.

To stop pollution

We can use renewable energies :

Solar energy, windmills and hydraulic force .

We mustn't throw away our rubbish in the river

To stop global warming

We must save water, take a shower

We can use ecofuel

We can protect endangered species .

The future of nature

You are so pretty ,

But not ugly,

Men destroy you,

And they hurt us,

Man and nature are two,

But you are more precious,

Our Earth

Our Earth is fragile.

We, children, are also fragile.

Pollution isn't a solution.

You, me, we have got the solution.

We must be careful not do destroy it.

We must protect it.

We hear these words : famine, flood, deforestation, global warming, pollution and rubbish every day.

We, children, want to change them for a new sustainable world and be happy every day.

We, children, hope that the Conference in Copenhagen is the beginning of an ecological world.
