Save the planet...and win a share of £1m

    Came across this website:

    www.biggreenchallenge.org.uk

Where you can win a share of a million pounds for your innovative ideas on ways to reduce co2 emissions.

How about a "Footprints back 2 nature" my idea would be to encourage everybody to grow vegetables and trees in their gardens, school and commnity unused land ,baron and overgrown places.

The advantages of this there would be:

Fresh food cut out junk food, tackle obesity problem

Fresh air and outdoor exercise for everyone involved

Cutting down on co2 by getting rid of food miles

    No packaging

And at a social level you would make friends and share ideas and equipment with community members also you would improve the area.

Any body interested in joining this or anybody got ideas of their own?

Be part of the solution and not the problem!

Re: Save the planet...and win a share of £1m

This looks like a great website to encourage people to start thinking and maybe even doing something to help!  Best wishes to Ecowarrior and hope you get a scrummy share of a million bucksStick out tongue!  It is a REALLY tight deadline even when its been put to the 3rd of March because of technical difficulties so better get your skates on!

The idea of 'Footprints back to nature' sounds interesting but can be added to and you'll need an involving piece of writing to get people to like your idea.  Oh, and a catchy catchphrase.

I was thinking.  Why doesnt someone else enter (could be me?) and use one of the best ideas from the Leo Zone.  My personal choice is the Big Off Button because the most people contributed to that post and it might be a reality someday? Better to make that sooner than later.

Please post back on this to say if its a good or bad idea.  Im not actually sure if I understand what to do so just give a thumbs-up to the idea of doing the Big Off Button.  If you like the idea I'll get to writing it out straight away!  (If I win, I might give tuppence of the prize to Footprint Friends)!  Just kidding, I'd give a lot more because it wasnt my idea at first was it?

    Hi BigBoomer,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Cathphrases how about:

    "Cool to be green"

    or "Plant for life"

Can anyone think of any others?

Definately think you should enter the Big Red Button idea sounds great, it was a really intresting forum.

Can I visit you in your mansion?

If nothing else this will make a good debate:

What would you do if you had £1m to improve the environment? Moon

    Back to reality...

Hey guys!  Packaging is spelt how I just spelt it.  I think the last day has come and gone though I am sorry to say I did not post the Big Off Button into the comp.  I was really busy this weekend and had four pieces of homework to do by Tuesday.  As Ecowarrior said, back to reality...
