An agreement is still a long way off....
Ed Miliband has called for negotiators to move from identifying problems to finding solutions, stressing the need for countries to show a willingness to shift from entrenched positions to more ambitious commitments.
'We're not yet on track for the kind of deal we need' he said yesterday. 'This is the critical opportunity. Britain is working in formal and informal settings as persuaders for the ambitious and comprehensive agreement we want. If we want to do a deal we will all need to create greater momentum and make active efforts to find solutions. We need more progress before the leaders arrive.'
With only days left, people need to be in the room to get a deal in Copenhagen. The UK Government hopes that Parties will work together to resolve issues so that we can achieve the objective of reaching an ambitious, fair and effective deal.
Our Young Reporters have been promised an audiance with Ed Miliband and Joan Ruddock - this was supposed to happen yesterday but will hopefully happen tomorrow - this is Leon one of our reporters sending updates to Footprint Friends!!
