Hi betty-boo, Yeah, family strategys to reduce energy useage could be great. I think it is important though that the little ones understand why they are turning the electrical items off so that they can feel good about doing it too.

Talking of turning things off, when our mobile phone chargers are left pluged-in to the mains they are still using power even when they are not connected to the phone. So to save power I think it is best to flick the switch off at the mains.
